Each year the Winfield Volunteer Fire Department hosts a "firefighter competion" during the festival to exhibit some of the skills that they employ every day.

There are eight different events, including, Bucket Brigade, Tug-O-War, and Hose Roll Relay. For a complete list of events, and rules please click here.
